Ni hao Taiwan

I will try to mostly post pictures because I know that is what most people care to look, at least I do. Those who want I will try to give some details too. However, loading pictures takes a decade so I can't promise anything.

This is what every single street in the Changhua looks like. I can not seem to get my bearings at all because everything looks the same. Most of the buildings have some kind of restaurant or business on the first floor and then every floor above that is a apt building. I like it.
This is cute Barbie. Her class is the first I met. I will teach her, and two other adorable boys, on some of the mornings. Meeting her first made me instantly excited to teach. Every single kid is so cute and so smart. I thought they would know no English but they speak so well. We are mostly hear just to help them learn how to speak better so mostly we just get to play with them. It's ideal.
This beautiful little girl is one of the youngest students in the school she is 2 and a half or 3 and she is so very smart. She knows so much and understands even more. I want to kidnap her. I couldn't get over her. I'm obsessed.
These are 4 of the 10 students in my main class 'basic reading.' Sean, Scott, Ruby, Jenny. I am so excited about my class I feel so lucky to have the class I do and work at the school I'm at.

I'm in a very blissful place right now. Lauren the other teacher that just arrived with me, who is fabulous, put it best. We are in the honeymoon stage with Taiwan. Everything is overly great, nothing is wrong with this place. Everything is exciting and wonderful.

Just today, I went to a morning market with delicious fresh fruit, fantastic Asian clothing, and everything in-between. Went and saw one of the biggest Buddha statues in the world. It's massive (picture to come) overlooked my wonderful city I live in, ate at food street (more details to come) took a train then bus to a near by city and enjoyed new-years with about 3049583903 Taiwanese people.

It's strange, normally time goes by slowly when you are not enjoying what you are doing. And even though each day feels like it is a month long, I am loving every minute (if you can't tell.)

Start

I'm not totally sure how this blog is going to play out. If I will actually post. What I will post about. If I will have a theme or not. If it will last. If people will read it. Whatever happens will happen. Sounds fun. I'm in Taiwan teaching English having a pretty interesting experience if I do say so myself so.... I think I will try it out.

So far so good. I'm loving Taiwan and even more loving little Taiwanese children. Cutest. Kids. Ever! EVER!

More to come. Maybe.
